I've used A LOT of electric razors and this really is a GREAT razor. I especially love to use it in the shower where I get a really close shave. I have a flat top hair cut and the sides are very short and I use the one blade on the sides and back with the number 1 guide and it works really well. My only concern is the price of the refills.
like the wet or dry feature. comfortable in the hand. strong motor. long battery time. shaves almost as close as a blade. close enough. no more cuts or razor rash. can't beat the price. compact for travel. Phillips knocked it out of the park. thank you.
Pros: clean shave @ a low price, phillips quality
Cons: zero cons., if you find one i feel sorry for your family
This is the easiest power razor I have ever used. It's great for trimming and shaping, preventing "razor burn", and seems to eliminate those dreaded hair "bumps".
I am greatly surprised at the longevity of the blade, I bought spares but after 3 months I'm still using the original. It doesn't seem to wear out.
Pros: size and weight, shave is close but not "too" close, trims beards mustache sideburns, gharge lasts for several shaves
Cons: it's the color - of course you can't lose it
I keep a full beard, so I'm only shaving small portions of my face and neck, but the OneBlade does a great job of keeping it close. I haven't tried it wet yet, but dry is no problem. I do wish the foil was a little better at getting the longer hairs, and that clean up wasn't such a problem (hair EVERYWHERE), but all things considered, as a razor, it's really doing a great job.
As a beard trimmer, it's also, actually, doing really well. The guard is reversible, so you can go in either direction, which makes it much easier to get at all the different parts of my beard. It can sometimes struggle with really thick stuff, but mostly it does very well. I like that it came with three different length guards, the longest is my preference, and I would even like some longer options.
As I've said, I don't use it as much as someone who shaves their entire face, but i've been using it for more than 2 months and have only had to charge it twice (once new, once since).
Pros: easy to use, cuts well as a trimmer, 3 different length options for trimming, foil gets pretty close
I have extremely coarse facial hair and need to shave my face daily. I have broken so many razors and electric shavers over the past fifteen years that I have lost count. My daily routine consists of shaving with a higher end electric shaver prior to showering, followed by a complete shave with a popular 5-blade razor. What the OneBlade has done for me is give me the option to skip that routine on some days without feeling grizzly. It handles the coarseness of my facial hair well and with minimal mess to clean up after. I typically use it in front of the mirror in the bathroom with the sink water running to rinse the unit every so often. It shaves pretty darn close and cuts down on the overall time it typically takes me using my typical daily method. Do not expect this to shave as close as a straight razor, but it's close enough for me to lose that scruff and shadow.
Pros: quick, easy, close shave, handles coarse facial hair well
