This razor can get as close as five-oclock-shadow. If you want a perfectly smooth close shave, then you'll need to use a blade. This gets close enough for me, and it is so quick and easy and painless. If I decide not to shave for five days, I can be done with the One Blade in less than a couple minutes, going against the grain, super close and easy. Perfect for someone who hates to shave and doesn't mind a bit of shadow. Does not irritate my sensitive skin.

Razor does a very good job of trimming my beard, Have trouble getting a clean edge around my moustace, but everywhere else seems to work fine. Disappointed in cost of replacement blades. TOO expensive.

I normally buy the fancy 5 blade razors and burn through one every 2 or 3 shaves. I have some pretty thick hair. But this thing just mowed right through a 5 day face stubble and didn't even flinch. With a 4 month blade life this is my new favorite shaver.
Pros: extremely fast., no razor burn or cuts., blade life
