Never turns off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this speaker picks up any previously paired Bluetooth source that is transmitting and will not turn off. All Bluetooth sources must be off and not transmitting or this speaker comes on automatically.

Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG XBOOM Go XG5QBK portable Bluetooth speaker. We understand your frustration with the automatic power-on behavior when previously paired Bluetooth devices are transmitting.
The XG5QBK is designed to automatically connect to the last paired Bluetooth device when powered on for convenience. However, it seems this feature is causing issues in your case, as the speaker turns on even when you don't intend to use it.
To troubleshoot this:
Make sure all previously paired Bluetooth devices are turned off or have their Bluetooth functionality disabled when not in use. This will prevent the speaker from automatically connecting and turning on.
You can try clearing the speaker's Bluetooth pairing list by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until the LED flashes blue rapidly. This will unpair all connected devices.
Consider using the speaker's auto power-off feature, which can be set to turn off the speaker after 15 minutes of inactivity to save battery life. You can enable this by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button for 3 seconds until you hear a voice prompt.

Great speaker BUT beware Multi-Mode!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great sounding speaker, long battery life, and a nice portable size with weather protection. BUT - I bought 4 for a reception, thinking the Multi-Mode would be a great way to sync the music. I got the 4 speakers, connected the 1st one with Bluetooth, then added the other 3 speakers using the app. It works great for sending the music for all 4 speakers, can control the lights, BUT the app volume control only controls the 1st speaker output. The other 3 have to be manually adjusted. I finally found the disclaimer in the notes on page 20 of the instructions. I'm baffled as how this feature is not available. Otherwise, this would have been the perfect portable speaker.
