Intex Easy Set Pool Review

This is our 3rd Easy Set Pool since we have lived in our home (25 years) and have gradually increased the pool size to this final one. Here's our thoughts:
Installation: Easy, quick and pretty basic. Just make sure your ground is flat and level and that during installation you pull the bottom edges to straighten out those wrinkles as you fill with water. If after 2", this process will be tough so work quickly.
The Products: The products are high quality and we haven't had to replace any parts and no leaks. The one thing that we would recommend is to upgrade the pump so you get the most water movement needed for water clarity and cleanliness. The aeration feature of the pool is great.
Maintenance: If you use a pool cover and keep your filters cleaned, maintenance is a breeze. This year we bought the vacuum system and are looking forward to an even easier time getting the pesky particles out of the pool with ease.

For added enjoyment we've added the LED magnetic pool light for night time use and it's pretty cool. Makes the pool look like a UFO which people trip out on.

15' Intex above ground pool

The hardest part to setting up this pool is keeping the wrinkles out of it while it fills. Forget trying to do that after there is more than an inch of water in it. After that, you let the water and the sun do the rest

Nice pool, great for kids

Delivery was fast, even if we are in Canada. The pump does look cheap, but you won't break the bank to replace it. Filters are really easy to change. Great pool for the kids and the adults. The water warms fast if it's sunny outside. Easy maintenance.

Not so easy

The thought of this pool is very enticing. BUT, even on seemingly flat ground I'm having major issues getting it to fill evenly. Very frustrating. I'm guessing if you are 100% sure that your yard is 100% perfectly flat as a board this would be great. However, if there is ANY chance it's uneven at ALL you may have problems, boo.

I'd recommend watching the set up video online. We skimmed the directions and are now working to smooth out the bottom. Otherwise it has been pretty easy to use, and my five year old is thrilled.

clamps & strainer

No hose clamps and No strainer which we are unable to clean pool. Not happy with this pool. We have had 4 Intex pools over the years and have not had these problems. Intex dropped the ball.
