Replaced my TP-Link AC1900 with the Asus and it's a noticable difference. Much faster and responsive. It took a little time to set it up so my Roku would work. Had to change the channel to a Roku used channel but it took me a while to figure that out. Now everything is humming along

Once it was up and running it was great. However, the setup took forever. All of a sudden the firmware update started. I don't like the new apps that run set up processes. It used to be that you logged into the admin area to do set up. It was much easier that way.

I purchased a Net Gear XR1000 gaming router because I wanted the best equipment money could buy to gain a competitive edge over the competition. Unfortunately, I not only wasted my money, I wasted five years of my time trying to keep my gaming console and all my other electronic equipment connected to it. It truly was the worst router I’ve ever owned. Upon installing my new ASUS RT-AXE7800 router, which was extremely easy to set up, it was so much faster. And, all my other equipment in the house connected right up and has stayed connected with full WiFi connection. For the first time in five years I have constant connection on the 3rd floor of my home with no problems. I wish I would’ve made this move 4-1/2 years ago.
