Secure Handles

I love this 12 Qt Gasket Box! The handles are so secure and easy to manipulate. The handles lock in place preventing anything from spilling out even when dropped. I have several of these boxes and use them for things such as yarn, office supplies, to nail polish and remover. So handy!

Small but deep enough for many items!!

I love the depth of this container; it holds nearly thirty pair of my heavier socks, and it’s not even completely full! And I really appreciate the strong handles for carrying it. The container is definitely strong for its smaller size! I like that the handles are a different color than the container as well. It would be nice to have varying lid/handle colors! The air and moisture seal is a bonus since I am storing socks that I only wear in colder weather.

Excellent product that seals very well!

I wanted a product that actually sealed very well to keep my photos and other small items that I had saved as keepsakes dry and away from any humidity. This worked very well. I live in an area that has high humidity and I stored items in attic which gets humid. But all safe! Would highly recommend these boxes.

Keeps food sealed up from small critters

I really like this product because we use it for everything in the house. We especially love it for use in our food pantry. Living in an area were ants, bugs, and even mice live, it is important to have something that is not easily accessible. With the tight clamps that hold the lid closed, and the seal around the inside of the lid, it makes for the best place to hold any kind of food no matter how much those critters try to get it. THEY CAN"T!!!

Tried and True . . . Sterilite 12 Qt. Gasket Box is Air and Water-Tight

I wanted to check the 12 Qt. Gasket Box to see whether it is truly air and water tight, and it is! I placed paper towels on the inside bottom of the box, and then placed 2 bricks on top of the towels. I closed the top with the handles provided on the lid. I then placed the box inside the bathtub and filled the tub to cover the lid of the box. For the next hour or so, I check the box to be sure there were no air bubbles escaping from the lid, and there were none. After three hours, I let the water out of the tub, removed the lid, and found the inside to be entirely dry, including the paper towels. The following day, I lined the entirely dry tub bottom with paper towels. Then I filled the box with water and secured the lid. With my husband's help, we inverted to box to rest on its lid in the dry bathtub, where it remained overnight. Again, the paper towels underneath the closed box were dry. Then we set one of the bricks on the dry paper towels and leaned one edge of the box on the brick to be sure no water could leak from the tilted box. Again, SUCCESS! The Sterilite 12 Qt. Gasket Box is indeed air and water-tight! I received this product as part of a My-Take research study.

Airtight for extra peace of mind

I like containers like this because they give me extra peace of mind when storing dry foods, especially baking ingredients like sugar, flour etc (roughly three 4lb bags) , or foods that have a scent, like seasonings. The airtight seal gives me confidence that the product will keep the items fresh and protect them from any pests that may lurk around.
The container is very durable, and the size is sufficient for storing items that are relatively large. Being transparent also allows me to quickly grab the container I need rather than pulling them out of the pantry one by one to see what items I have stored inside.
I would recommend this to a friend!
