6 Quart boxes

These 6 quart storage boxes are very well built and are very durable. I buy them to use for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes and they hold a large variety of items for children all over the world. I highly recommend these boxes for any of your needs.

My favorite of all plastic shoeboxes!!

I pack hundreds of plastic shoeboxes every year for a mission project in our church. Each little shoebox is filled with school supplies, hygiene products, clothing articles, basic toys, etc. They are then sent to a processing center where they are stacked among thousands of other boxes. Each box then travels to a child somewhere in an impoverished area. So, needless to say, these boxes go through a lot!! I have tried many different plastic shoeboxes, and the sterilite 1642 is by far my favorite. It is a little wider and deeper than most. This allows for a more roomier interior. It also seems to be much more stronger and sturdier, enabling it to withstand all the weight that is put upon it as it is packed full and stacked for processing and shipping. I also love the way the lids are designed in a way that allows the boxes to stack and almost interlock with each other. These boxes travel all over the world and I have heard stories how the recipients then use the box for storing rice or other items. (Which means they arrived still in good condition). I have worked at the centers where these boxes are all processed, and this box and lid doesn't crack, break, or crush during this whole adventure. I can't say that about some other brands of plastic shoeboxes. .Amazing....,I love them...Please don't stop manufacturing the 1642 box. It has proven to be the best box when capacity and sturdiness are important.

I bought like 14 of these! I have crafts in them, toys, papers, receipts, art supplies, Christmas stuff! You name it! There so useful and stackable!

I have previously owned and purchased more of the 6 quart storage boxes which are not only perfect for shoe storage but great for stationary supplies as well as arts and crafts. They stack well too.
