Not as good as the previous

These cards have the same number as the older versions but the new versions cannot print on hp printers. They are too thick and gets jammed. The older cards with the same item number are a little thinner. Maybe you should take into account the fact that most printers cannot print on very thick cardstock.

We're sorry to hear that! These cards are still compatible with HP laser printers so it's worrying to hear that they are jamming. If you change the paper type setting in your printer to cardstock or a higher quality then it could solve this issue. Cards are of high quality material with easily separated perforations between each card

Will not work with 2 sided business card printing

I had some older 5871 cards and they printed perfect. I got 2 new boxes and they smear on the back side of the cards, I used a hair dryer and put in the freezer, still smear. Very poor product, come on Avery, get back to being OK! You saying money on your side, makes our side to not work?

Smudges Everywhere they get touched

I bought this yesterday due to a printing company messing up my phone number. I have a Chamber event tonight want wanted to share my new cards so I bought these as a stopgap until the printer fixes their mistake. I printed the cards last night. 21 hours later I tried to separate them. Every place I touched them, the ink got smudged. They're worthless.

Smudge

I have a laser jet printer and it still smudge badly. I put my printer on at least all the different paper type settings and it still didn’t work.

Do not line up correctly

I bought these a couple of weeks ago. I usually buy 5911 but didn't need that many for the project at work do I bought the lesser amt. They do punch out easily. I assumed that 5874 would be the same in a lesser amount but was wrong. I have hundreds of templates in publisher and they do not line up right no matter what I do. Size of card is the same, so it makes no sense. Unhappy customer.

We are sorry to hear this. 5874 and 5911 do share the same template for printing. We would recommend checking that the Scale is set to 100 or Actual Size is selected on the print dialog and that the page size is 8.5 x 11. When I tried to print on the back side (even using the settings recommended by Avery) the black ink smeared.
