Unhappy about lid

I really like this storage bin, BUT when the lid was lost I found it was impossible to get a replacement! That’s crazy! Why would you not provide for a part that is necessary in order to use the product usefully? I can’t truly recommend this product.

Sterilite does not manufacture extra lids or component parts for our products. Products are manufactured and sold as a unit to retailers. We appreciate your feedback and will pass it on to our team.

Replacement Lids Would Help

I have used these totes for several years and love the stackability and conformity of having them, however the last few I have bought the lids broke easily. Like others have mentioned, I really wish we could buy replacement lids. I now have about 5 perfectly fine totes without lids, leaving the totes basically useless for our needs.

Just the right size for me. But the lid failed

I had 4 of these in a stack for christmas decorations. Nothing too heavy, but the bottom lid couldn't hold the weight and it got warp and it broke when I tried to get it back in shape.
I still love the other 3 but I wish I could find a replacement lid

Bin is fine but the lids all broke

I’m stuck with 3 perfectly good bins because the clear lids get brittle quickly and broke. Sadly replacement lids are not available. Do yourself a favor and buy the solid color lids, they are more durable.

Great, sturdy container but the handles can break over time

This is a great, sturdy container and I have used these products for years, totalling over 40 of these larger containers. However, the handles can have the tiny nubs snap off after frequent use over about a year and a half. Unfortunately, they do not sell the handles by themself, so you have to purchase an entirely new container.

Lids Break!

I would rate these higher but the lids break in cold weather and sadly there are no replacement lids available online.

Hello Mandy, our apologies for inconvenience you have experienced. Our products are made out of polypropylene and can withstand temperatures of as high as 180 degrees Fahrenheit and as low as 15 degrees Fahrenheit.
At the higher temperatures, the plastic can eventually become flexible and could warp or deform. At colder temperatures, the plastic may become brittle and may crack or rupture. With repeat or prolonged exposure to these extremes will negatively impact the performance and longevity of the items.

Great bins but no replacement parts?

I have about 40 of these totes that I store fabric in. I like the uniformity of the boxes and the latched tops.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great storage, need lids

I have bought many of these the last couple of years to store items and for moving. They are great! My problem is that I have about 6, 66qt latch lid storage containers and the lids have broken. Is there a possibility of purchasing 6 lids from you directly? I can seem to find them anywhere else. Thanks
