ROKU Express

I purchased it in April 14 and it arrived May 17. The acquisition was to replace my Firestick which just stopped working. My previous device would freeze up, drop the internet connection. I have a few ROKU devices in my home and my experience is wonderful.

I had an older Roku Express and this 4K model is in a totally different class. I can now turn on/off my TV and control the volume and mute. With the Tablo app I can watch my OTA local television channels and record one show while watching another. Before this model I had as many as four remotes to watch TV. Now I only have one remote and that is the new Roku Express 4K+.

It made my Samsung smart TV even wiser

I preordered the Roku Express 4K+ and was thrilled when it arrived. It was easy to install and the receiver is much smaller than I imagined. It seamlessly attached to the base of my Samsung Smart TV. I had an older (not 4K) Roku on my 4K tv. The 4K Roku definetely has the quality of picture I am used to. Plus it has apps that I can't install on my Samsung TV such as the Viki app. Also, Sling doesn't always operate properly on the Samsung so I am hoping that when use Sling in the Roku it will behave.
