Great potential, poor management and worse program

Had the product for some time. The more I used it and dealt with Roku staff the more I realized how totally fragmented the organization is. The hardware seems to be ok. Unfortunately the operating instructions have no relationship to the actual product. Worse is the fact that the "help" staff is not familiar with either the product or its fundamental operation. The absolute nadir though is the video instructions that came with the product. Beautifully produced, intelligently conceived and constructed. Unfortunately the information provided is not related to the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Can't use Pandora anymore

This device won't play Pandora. I'm also concerned about the video smoothing that can't be turned off.

The newest version will help you achieve optimal performance with the latest features. To check, press Home>Setting>System>Software Update>Check Now to manually check for updates. Additionally, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the affected change to fix this issue. Lastly, to turn off video smoothing ("Action Smoothing") on a Roku. Play any content or movie, then press your remote's "star" button. What a buy!

I bought this as a fathers day gift and he loves it !!! Lots of sports channels and news. Also dropped th box and dust and cat hair collecting cables plus 15.00 less to pay a month !! Ya hoo !!! Thanks Roku !!

Bought the Roku Express 4k+ for my kids to watch their show. Device is slow in response and has connectivity issues with the internet. TCL Roku TV also has connectivity issues with the internet. All other devices in the household runs smoothly without connectivity issues. Had to restart the device a bunch of times as well as factory reset 4 time to get it to connect to the internet. The only good thing is the apps that can be downloaded. Other than that, it's sub-par.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

works pretty well. small and discreet. can pause and rewind tv. no need to have a dvr
