I received this Christmas and it's been great so far. I didn't want another smart TV because of lack of support from the TV manufacturer and them stopping doing updates on a TV that's more than a year or so old. Roku is perfect for my application.

Roku is my first experience with streaming. It’s been ok. I DO NOT LIKE the remote. It is too small. I have found no instructions. It has no back light feature. If you tried to save money putting the remote together you succeeded. And I’m used to recording programs which of course I can’t do with this Roku product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
