Problems with remote?

Overall, I really like Roku but I have experienced on more than one occasion and on more than one identical device where my remote stops responding. It has happened in different apps so I don't think it's an app issue. I'll be watching a show and want to pause, fast forward or rewind and nothing happens. The home button and power button will work but nothing else. Sometimes, pulling out and reinstalling the remote batteries works. Other times, I just exit the app and start over. It happens randomly. It can be fine at one commercial and be locked up at the next. Very inconvenient. If it weren't for that, Roku would be perfect.

Great functionality

I love the product, and would give it 5 stars if the volume and mute were located differently. I grab the remote to perform some function, and my fingers always seem to find the volume or mute button. Sometimes it causes the TV to bring up some menu item that makes me have use the TV remote to clear it. Great otherwise.

Sling and other apps don't work

Certain apps don't won't when installed but for the ones that do work, I have no complaints

Please try following these steps to fix the issue: Remove the channel, Restart the system, and Re-install the channel. This can help the problem with the apps that are not responding. Also, try to check the app version. It may not be updated. On your TV screen, highlight the app, press the remote's star (*) button, and select Check for updates. This is my 4th device I have in my home. So easy to use and setup. Really like how easy to configure the apps on the home screen . Got rid of the fire stick because the Roku works much better.

The first day was awesome 👌, then the TV blew up and we had to get a new TV and it came wit ROKU built in.
