Its definitely a brick compared to my P1, but I knew that when I purchased it given that I won't be traveling with this computer much. It has lots of ports which is nice too. The Lenovo migration software made moving to this new machine a breeze, much appreciated!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sleek machine. Bought this to replace an older P71 Lenovo that didn't support Windows 11. Only downsides are the newer USB's. I'm still in the process of moving my apps installed. Highly recommend if you need a newer, more powerful machine.

My prior laptop was just unable to generate the data for creating a large pattern in Solidworks (over 4000 body instances) ... hours of cranking away resulting in crashing the software. Additionally, the 3d print slicer was unable to successfully slice a 1/2 sheet with the pattern. SOLUTION: THINKPAD P16 w/128gb ram and Nvida RTX5000. The pattern generated in less than 3 minutes. Slices in less than 30 seconds. Incredible, just INCREDIBLE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a small business owner and tend to go through laptop computers about every 15 to 18 months. It’s used daily 8-12 hours normally. Mostly Dell laptops, a few HP. This time I compared the cost/quality of parts/specs with Dell and HP mobile work stations. First gold star for this machine Lenovo slayed the competition on. Lenovo was almost & $3,000.00 less than Dell, and $2,000.00 less than HP, SCORE.
Machine arrived two weeks earlier than expected, score again. Small business rep that helped me with the purchase did a great job with the sale. I emailed a follow up question after the arrival of the computer ten days ago and haven’t heard back.
The machine is heavy, it’s rugged and very well built with actual metal and not cheap plastic. If you are looking for lightweight and thin this is not. I’ve noticed several reviews siting heat and noise issues. My machine is very quiet and has zero heat issues and I run highly taxing video programs, it takes a huge load to bring the internal fans up to full speed. The keyboard is very well laid out with a numeric keyboard which I love. Lenovo did a nice job not loading it up with with junk software. I love that the power is in the back of the machine which is helpful when working from the recliner and when docking it.
The rewards are beyond generous, after my purchase I had enough rewards to purchase a second power adapter.
In conclusion I cannot be happier, this machine is in an elite status, I highly recommend Lenovo, I’ll be buying a tower workstation from them very soon. Thank you, Lenovo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 (16" Intel) is an absolute beast of a mobile workstation. I recently upgraded from my P52 to this machine and, it's a game changer for anyone who runs test labs or works with heavy-duty applications. I perform migrations and have a complete lab set up with two full environments (2 Domain Controllers, 1 Exchange server, 1 SQL server, multiple application servers and multiple workstations in each). This machine has all the power I need to test various scenarios and is now the central machine in my setup. I still use a lightweight T460 and the old P52 as additional machines, but this P16 can handle everything I throw at it.
