[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Thinkpad and my 2nd Thinkpad workstation. I use it for music production, mobile DJing, and livestreams and it’s perfect. It handles 2-3 additional displays (needed to manage livestreams), and supports real-time stems. The screen is very bright and crystal clear - and shows up so nicely in outdoor venues. This is much better than a Mac (even the M3) as it supports higher storage requirements and allows 2 internal drives. I have a total of 5TBs of drive space.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a powerful laptop and works really well for programing and running all sort of development software without any issues. It is a little heavy, but I am sure that is the battery and fans. It also lacks an Ethernet port, which I thought was odd, being it was such a hefty laptop. But all in all, no real complaints at all.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The P16 is a really nice Work Station. It is pretty heavy when I took it out of the box. I like how it has the fingerprint unlock on the power button and the screen is very clear. It’s been working flawlessly since I received it but I still have a few upgrades in mind. I’m going to upgrade the memory to 128gb and the Storage to 4TB.
If you’re going to be using a Lenovo Docking Station make sure it can provide enough power to the laptop because the P16 battery provides 170W.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 Mobile Workstation is worth every dollar spent! It is a heavier system, but it delivers superior performance for gaming or mobile workstation. I found a slim 170W laptop power supply online that I will use for transporting.
