[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this laptop to do video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and photo editing with Lightroom. It is about 20x faster at warp stabilization of video clips with its 128 GB RAM than my previous laptop with 32 GB RAM. And I can do recovery of lost files and host local AI and cruise the web all at the same time! I’m very happy with it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a powerful machine, but it's heavy and it's loud. Our 11-person interior design team had a choice of two Lenovo laptops: the ThinkPad P16 Gen 2 Intel (16") Mobile Workstation and the Lenovo ThinkPad P1 Gen 7 Intel (16″) Mobile Workstation. One designer out of 11 chose the P16. The P16 is just too heavy to be transported easily between meetings and the office. It is also very loud as it revs up to render drawings.

Hello Linda, Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your team’s experience with the ThinkPad P16 Gen 2. We’re glad to hear you found it powerful—performance is a key strength of the P16. That said, we understand your concerns about portability and noise. The P16 is designed as a high-performance mobile workstation, which can result in a heavier build and active cooling during intensive tasks like rendering. For teams frequently on the move, the P1 Gen 7 may indeed be a more suitable choice due to its lighter design and quieter operation.
Your input is incredibly valuable, especially coming from a professional design team. We’ll make sure it reaches the product team to help guide future improvements. If you have any questions, you can reach out to us at 1-855-253-6686.
Strong laptop with strong hardware, but it seems certain parts are not compatible, for example, there are issues with compatibility between internal (CPU) graphic card and NVDA graphic card. Given that I bought this laptop because I wanted to connect 3 or 4 external monitors to my laptop, the fact that it cannot even handle 3 monitors properly is very disappointing

Hello Bennie, Thank you for sharing your feedback and we apologize for the issues you've encountered with ThinkPad P16 Gen 2. The ThinkPad P16's NVIDIA card and the system's integrated graphics may appear incompatible due to incorrect driver versions, incorrect BIOS or operating system settings, or software conflicts. To resolve this, first update the NVIDIA driver, check the BIOS/UEFI for NVIDIA settings to ensure the card is enabled and not set to integrated graphics only, and confirm there are no pending Windows/OS updates. If the issue persists after following these steps, we recommend reaching out to our tech support team at 1-855-253-6686. We're committed to ensuring your satisfaction and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter. Regards, Thomas, Lenovo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been a ThinkPad user since 2014, and when it finally came time to replace my old one, there was never a question—I went straight back to Lenovo. My previous ThinkPad lasted me over a decade of daily use without ever letting me down, and this new one continues that same tradition of reliability, performance, and durability.
What I love most is that Lenovo doesn’t chase fads—it builds machines that work flawlessly when you need them most. The keyboard is still the best in the business, the build quality feels solid and professional, and the performance is exactly what I need to stay productive.
If you want a laptop that you’ll still be using proudly years from now—not just the next shiny thing—ThinkPad is the only choice. Lenovo doesn’t just make laptops; they make long-term partners.
