Convenient... But Not a Must

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I tried this product this past week it was for a medium load of colored clothes. I normally use either home made detergent, Purex, or Gain; so naturally I was extremely excited to use the Gain Original Flings detergent pac in my BuzzKit. I washed my clothes normally and added some fabric softener. As I was transitioning the load from washer to dryer I noticed that the clothes smelled and looked clean. After taking the clothes out of the dryer; as I was folding I found that they were clean but that there really didn't seem to be a difference for me between the pac and what I normally rotate through. Did I like the Gain Original Flings detergent pac... yes it was easy and convenient but I don't personally see myself buying these unless I were to get an HE washing machine. I thin because they would help with the maintenance of my machine vs a liquid detergent.

Love the gain scent

I literally don't think I need to wear perfume when I wash my clothes in gain because they have a beautiful fresh smell when they come out of the wash. I have never used any kind of pod so this my first experience with the pod technology. I now definitely prefer a pod over liquid or powder detergent because it's easy and mess free. No need to measure your detergent, the pod is pre-measured with the perfect amount of detergent for a standard load. My hands and laundry room stay clean, I just grab a pod and toss it in, no spills or mess. You don't know what you are missing until you try these! If you are like me, laundry is not one of my favorite tasks, the again flings have made doing laundry quicker, easier, and mess free!

Dont like the smell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sorry Gain, you were easy to use, cleaned my clothes well but as I opened the washer I did not like the smell. No better once dried but glad the smell was all gone once folded. I would not buy just due to the smell.

Like summer, for the laundry room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I rarely come across a product that can keep a constant reminder in my senses that it is spring/summer, but these Gain Flings have done just that. One is all you need in a large load of laundry to keep the happy scents a flowing. I have washed everything I can with these and and enjoying the nice fragrance they are leaving around my house. I could not ask for a better product!

First Time for Everything

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am one of those people who finds a brand I like and almost always sticks with it. I have been a loyal gal with only one brand of laundry detergent my entire adult life (of course, it's the one my mom uses too). However, when I had a chance to try out the Gain Original Flings detergent pacs I decided to throw caution to the wind and go for it. I am really glad that I did. I was pleasantly surprised how simple it was to just "fling" in a detergent pac and start the wash cycle- no lugging a jug off the shelf, sloshing it into a dispenser, and trying to not to make a mess. Just open the door, toss, and let it wash! My clothes were as clean and bright as they always are which made me really happy. I actually enjoyed the scent of the pacs- not too strong and a nice staying power. I am really glad I was nudged out of my comfort zone and tried something new- it was definitely a positive.

For those who love the scent...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried Gain liquid detergent in the past and found that it cleans my clothes as well as my preferred brand and smells nicely enough on its own. However, the fragrance clashes with my preferred lavender-scented fabric softener. It does not completely mask the scent; rather, it meshes with it in a very unpleasant way, leaving the laundry load smelling less than fresh. This product in particular boasts a stronger fragrance than the liquid form that will please those of you who love the scent. I will not be purchasing this product but I definitely recommend it for those who consistently use Gain. You can expect the same cleaning power in these little guys that you experience in liquid Gain. As an added bonus, the ease of "flinging" the pack into the washer only saves about 10 seconds of time but it is convenient and quite satisfactory.

They are so fabulous is more easier and quicker than measuring and making a big all mess with the liquid or power detergents i love it
