Was a great box but you can't get see through lids

I loved this box with the clear lid. Then they quit making them. Only white lids. So now I use another brand that is inferior but has a clear lid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for general storage

Quality material and construction. Mine come with red latches instead of grey as on the website picture. The lower height is probably so you can stack more of these at once. The smaller sides have less of a curve so you can fit more stuff inside. Carrying around may be tricky through narrow doors or stairs. 2 should fit on the back of a regular 4door car but I think it a bit too wide for the front passenger seat. If you're looking to move around more frequently, I'd highly recommend looking at the 18 Gallon Latch and Carry Tote. It's the perfect size for moving around and the lid and construction material are also a bit better in my opinion. This is still a good product for its intended purpose, just make sure you understand your own needs.

Bring back the clear lids!

These 18 quart Ultra containers used to be a 5 star product. But Sterilite got rid of the clear lids and now the lids are opaque white. The rest of the container is still good, but the lids are much worse. I can no longer tell what's in the container from above. Bring back the clear lids and stop messing with good products!

This product works very well for my purpose

I have used several different products similar to this one but with very little success until I found this one. It works very well, is the right size and has answered my storage problems.
I use it in an enclosed lockable cabinet (metal) to store fishing gear. I use it for spare reels, line, various baits and terminal tackle. I have not one complaint on this unit.
For the amount invested, I do not think a better product exists at least for the purpose I have put it to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Latched for life

I probably own 12 to 15 of these. If I need to store something in a bin this is my go to size. The container material is tough plus being able to see thru and know what's inside without opening it is great. Due to it's size I can stack three of these on most shelves. My favorite part is the latches. THEY NEVER FAIL ! I have accidentally dropped these a few times and the lid has always stayed secure.

I have several of these boxes in my school counseling office. I love that they’re clear so it’s easy to see what is inside, and they’re easy enough for even my youngest students (pre-K) to open independently.

Perfect for Camera Storage

As a Digital Arts teacher, I have to keep track of a large inventory of cameras and accessories. These bins are perfect for holding a camera, camera bag, and all the additional attachments! The best part is that they stack easily for storage. Highly recommend!

I have hundreds of these boxes but the company moving away from clear lids is a deal breaker. well be going to a different brand.
