My favorite GPS watch to date. Love the solar charging. Only reason i give a 9 is lack of maps. The bread crumb is nice but would prefer actual map. Super durable. I am rough on watches and this has yet to show any scratches

great watch i use the gps function for all sorts of things from trolling on the river to hiking in the woods. tracks really well within feet of where you are. like the ability to see messages and answer calls. when I'm not right next to my phone. the credit card doesn't always work but that's not a big deal to me. love all the extras Garmin connect offers.

Such a great watch

I had a Garmin Instinct. Beat the hell out of it for about 6 years. I didn’t need a new one but I decided to treat myself. I got the Solar Instinct 2X because I didn’t want to break the bank.
It just arrived and I got it all set up. I have no doubt this thing will be just as good- no, better than the Instinct I had previously.
If you’re shopping for a great watch, that can be beat up with no worry, the Garmin Instinct series is a no brainer.
