Fantastic watch for ultra runners

This watch has a clear and simplified display with plenty of features. When on long runs I have never had the battery even come close to dying, even on 50+ mile races. Navigation features are slightly clunky but for the price very adequate. The wide variety of actives provide analysis for a variety of sports across all seasons. The plastic on the bezel scratches easily but I don't mind because its not a dress watch that needs to look fancy. I would highly recommend this watch to anyone from beginner to expert in long distance running.

Unless you feel the need to navigate off of a high resolution map on your wrist, or check the time through a night vision device, this watch probably does more than most will ever dream of needing. Killer battery life and expeditious shipping.

The battery life on this model is outstanding. I loved the original Instinct, but this "new & improved" version actually is way better. Very happy with this watch.

Battery life lasts much longer than my previous version and solar helps a little. Back to back GPS recording will drain any device, but the simple screen keep this efficient. The new x size is just right.

Most of the things I need...

This watch does almost everything I want it to. It tracks all my activities really accurately (MTB, Snowboarding, paddling). Tracks my sleep and has great insights on health like HRV and smarts with my phone really well. The Torch is awesome and I use it all the time. I just wish it would do red light too. I little more customization on the default watchface would be nice. The iQ store isn't great for the Instinct imo. Battery life is excellent. I have owned the Epic Pro and Fenix 7X. The Maps are awesome, the Epic Pro screen beautiful. But I don't need to spend that much time looking at my watch. My phone can do maps and I will always have it so the Instinct is a better choice and has better battery life.
