Like the watch as a whole but for some reason no matter what I try my text messages won’t show up from my iPhone the phone calls and other notifications do. Not much online is any help as it seems everyone has the same issue.

First Garmin I have purchased. I bought it for mtb tracking and got so much more out of it. I have also already handed this watch a beating. It looks big and bulky but it's not too bad on my wrist. I also don't have an issue wearing it while I sleep. It truly is a part of me. Wicked happy I went with the solar. That is a big win for me as well!

After more than a decade with Apple and Google Pixel watches, the Instinct 2x Solar is my favorite watch yet. It has everything I need and nothing I don't. As a thru-hiker, my favorite features are navigation, route tracking, flashlight, sleep tracking, sunrise/sunset, moon phases, compass, altimeter, and silent alarms. But the very best feature above them all is the battery life.

Upgrade from my Fenix 3HR

I bought my Fenix 3HR in 2016 and it is still going strong. But recently I got a Insta360 X4 and there is a ConnectIQ app that provides some control of the camera from the Instinct 2 X Solar, so I upgraded.
I love the solar charging. The monochrome screen nice and readable, even in bright sun. It is great that I can display the info I want: TOD, Speed, Miles completed, and Heart Rate, on one screen.

Couldn’t be happier with this watch. Tracks very well love the sleep stats and vo2 stats. Monthly challenges on the app are a blast but watch is tough and good looking! Very happy with the upgrade. It adds a bit of pep to my step knowing I’m tracking everything. Wanting to push and get healthier and better and this is helping with that!
