It is way better then the original instinct solar. That being said they are producing a faulty watch the mine broke within 2 weeks yes under warranty but bought the Previous model due to my life's style. And I'm rough on things. The component that broke is the vibration motor it becomes an audible sound, not just vibration, It was able to break without me. Putting the watch in any tough conditions, which makes me worry that the next one's gonna break and where I spend money to buy quality. This is not typical garment. Move pretty upset with the company. They should get their product fixed before they sell it

Fantastic device

This is my second instinct 2x solar, bought the white model to go with the graphite model. I drive truck and ride mtn bikes on my off time. I am impressed with the length of time between charges. The torch lite is very useful at work and the fitness features are all I need for tracking my workouts. Compared to some of the other models the instinct seems to be quite the steal. Very happy, will probably purchase the red model soon!

Great but not perfect!

I'm still deciding whether to ship it back or keep it, as I can see the battery life is 20 days with my usage (daily plus a 1-hour hike), and the solar charger only adds 2% or less per hour.

I recently upgraded to the Instinct 2X Solar watch and I couldn't be more pleased. The upgrade has given me much better analytics and the larger display provides me with more on-screen metrics. I also connected with Connect IQ and added some wickedly helpful and expansive watch faces. I highly recommend the upgrade!

Awesome Watch… except…

I bought this watch last August when I destroyed my Apple Watch… and I am happy that happened because I would honestly have to say that I love the Instinct 2X. It does everything I want it to do, plus it has extra features that have encouraged me to branch out and do more. Top 3 features: -Ability to record Multi-Sport activities. (Handy for a biathlon/triathlon or that ‘Memorial Day Murph’) -Strobe light for night runs. (for that matter, the flashlight is awesome as well..) -Multi-Band Satellite accuracy. (my old watch was a Tom-Tom that only used one satellite, and I would lose signal when my route paralleled a high power line.) There is only one drawback, and to be honest with you it is very annoying: there is a lag. I am not just talking about when I hit the button to start an exercise, (there is a legitimate 2 to 3 seconds before the screen changes,) but it also takes FOREVER to upload an event. (Anything that does not use GPS is quicker, but a run—especially a long run—can take minutes. (Over 4 minutes to load a half-marathon.) I thought it might be normal until my son got a Venue 3, and his stuff loads up almost instantly, but by that time I had owned the watch about four or five months and assumed it was too late to complain. That said, I looked it up and it’s about 50% of the owners that are complaining, so it MIGHT just be a glitch.

My daughters bought this for my birthday. What a great watch a lot of features. I love using the GPS on the golf course, it works great with all the features!
