Great watch with awesome features…But

I’m really enjoying this watch. Decided to buy one of these after seeing a bunch of reviews on YouTube. Features are awesome, especially considering most the features are shared with the higher end Garmins. Might sound weird, but a big reason I bought this was for the built in flashlight, thought it was an incredible idea. I will say coming from a Fenix 6x pro solar I was expecting a huge jump in battery life with the larger solar panels and less going on in the watch music/no color/no maps but honestly the watch makes it about 9ish days which is a little disappointing. I usually do at least one activity a day alternating strength and running every other day. I do track my surfing with the watch to which recently has picked up due to having a good run of waves, so I understand I’m using the GPS for at least an hour maybe 2 when surfing and roughly an hour on runs but I figured there would still be a substantial jump from the Fenix 6x pro solar but there really isn’t. I didn’t use most of the features on my Fenix. I think it’s dumb they limit you to a few music providers so I didn’t use that feature. I didn’t really use maps but I thought the gps tracked better when I had that as a data screen. That’s what ultimately swayed me to this watch. Theoretically better battery, flashlight, better GPS, better health metrics tracking, and lighter. The watch looks cool but not as good as the Fenix in my opinion so that’s a draw back, and I think the Fenix is a tougher watch just due to the materials it’s made of. Overall 4/5 just because the battery isn’t what I thought it would be but it’s an awesome watch.

I have had the Garmin 2X solar for about 3 weeks now and it’s a very cool watch. I love the flashlight on it and how long the battery last. I did think the battery would last longer than what it does but it is still lasting longer than my Garmin instinct solar. The size of this watch will make it where if I bend my wrist a certain way, it will push the menu buttons and start going through stuff but other than the battery life and the menu button thing. This watch is awesome

Perfect watch for me!

I have not worn a watch in over 16 years. All the watches that I have had in the past were heavy, and had no options.
I started looking at the Garmin watches after I bought my Garmin InReach Mini 2. When I first saw the Instinct 2X, and felt how light it was, and all the options it had, I was hooked!
Being an outdoorsman, I really liked having the altimeter, weather, step count, time, and the date, all on one watch face! Oh, I forgot to mention the sunrise and sunset times also!
This watch has so many options anyone can customize it to their own way of life.
This is another great product from Garmin and I realized, this is the perfect watch for me!

Love the battery life.. sleep score is a flop

The main reason behind dumping the Apple Watch was for what I read was better sleep scoring and tracking. It worked for the first night, then the fight night.. now I’ve just given up. If it wasn’t for the battery life, I’d return it.
