battery life is false advertisement

I purchased this laptop because it states that the battery life is 15 hours; but it is nowhere near 15 hours - with power save mode, half the brightness and only browsing the internet the laptop only lasts for approximately 6 hours. Do not purchase this and buyer beware: the website is falsely advertised.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This computer has all of the horsepower I was hoping for. I am doing more media work than ever before these days, and this computer is plenty powerful for simple video editing and makes short work of video conversions. That's the main reason I went this way, and it meets those needs and all of my other office needs very well.
My only criticism is that the battery life isn't great. generally, even on the lower power modes, I'll get 3 hours or so of use. Since I bought it for the power, not the battery life, this isn't a huge deal to me.
I also bought it with a dock, and it occasionally cuts out and I have to unplug and reinsert the USB-C cable into the dock for it to start working again. This is a little annoying, but not the end of the world.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Built solidly, runs fast, good set of ports. A few annoying issues with it, with the top one being that upon waking from sleep, it doesn't wake up the HDMI monitor. And the battery runs out faster than advertised.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a laptop that packed the power of a workstation but in the body of portable and not break the bank, I'm thinking X1 series... and this checks all of my boxes. Latest 11 gen i7 processor, 16GB soldered and a 4th gen nvme ssd, where could I go wrong. I went with Lenovo because I wanted something that just works and the ability to EASILY throw another 16GB or upgrade the ssd when needed is what had me sold. While there certainly are thinner laptops out there, you'd be hard pressed to find one as powerful as the P14s/15s Gen 2 series. Battery life is what I expected longer than workstation but not quite as long as an Ultrabook - easily 8-10 hours for what I do. This magnesium workhorse definitely punches above it's weight class.
