I've had a shaky experience with this particular model UPS - two have died within the past two weeks. Thankfully the 3-year warranty saved me both times.

I Purchased this Product to protect my Dell XPS 9000 which I purchased In January of 2010. Pros: It does what its supposed to do. Cons: Very heavy, very costly compared to other UPS. The problem is my computer required this type of UPS if I would have known that from the git go I would have purchased a different computer, and saved money on the UPS and purchased a more economical UPS from Tripp Lite.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Needed a 'business class' UPS -- with sine-wave output -- including software to shut down the machine connected to it. This one was recommended by a very helpful Tripp-lite support engineer on a web chat -- who took the time online to compute the capacity I needed, based on the specific equipment I have to protect. Found a great deal on the web -- and very happy with my purchase.
