I just got this installed about a week ago and love the sleek, finished look it gives my kitchen remodel. The underside lighting adds just the right amount of light for cooking. A great addition to my kitchen.

Awesome hood for my new kitchen

I am super happy with the look of this range hood. I installed it above my new gas range and it’s powerful enough to take on the cooking that goes on and occasional smoke. Really gives a modern look to the kitchen. So far it’s been easy to clean as well.

We bought the wall-mounted range hood 1 month ago. The installation was fairly straightforward, especially compared to the over the range microwave I had installed previously. Once I had the electrical outlet placed properly (i.e., so it would be hidden behind the range hood chimney because we don't have cabinet above) and the brackets were lined up properly and fixed to the wall, the range hood was quite easy to install. I did opt to use a standard gauge 6 inch stainless steel pipe to connect to the ductwork instead of the flexible pipe that came with the Cosmo range hood. Overall, the range hood looks great and is working just fine so far. It is not as noisy as some other range hoods and over the range microwaves we have had in the past so that is a bonus.

We purchased the Cosmo 30" 380 CFM (COS-63175S) ducted wall mount range hood in Stainless Steel a month ago. We are very pleased with the clean look of the hood. The lights provide plenty of light on my stove top and will be easy to replace if the need ever arises.
The sound of the vent fan is much more quiet than our previous hood. We can now carry on a conversation without yelling. I also like the 1 minute paused turn off of the vent fan. Helps remove that last bit odor from cooking.
I had my doubts about the filters but they are working great. I have washed them twice in the dishwasher and they have come out looking like new each time. They are easy to take down and easy to put back in place.
I would recommend this product to my friends.

The fan seems work as expected and is quiet. The install was fairly straight forward although the instructions seemed to not explain everything but I was able to figure it out.
