Very efficient but loud

We bought this to replace our microwave vent and I'm glad we did. This thing moves air and catches anything and everything. Although this being said, it is very loud and I sometimes can't hear my wife talking to me while this thing is on. Maybe it's a blessing?

I installed this hood a couple weeks ago. I well pleased with my purchase. Upgraded my microwave with built-in fan. Cosmo no doubt more modern look with quieter exhaust fan.
I would recommend this to a friend!
