Heavy duty

We recently installed this beautiful 36 inch under the cabinet exhaust hood to replace a standard whirlpool builder grade unit that did not have enough suction and plastic cage and motors. This is a heavy duty hood that does not even have to be higher then f01 setting to do its job. This unit is heavy snd will require 2 people to install .

Does it’s job well

3 months in my upgraded kitchen. Works well and removes cooking smoke, smell instantly with even on its lowest setting. I really like the commercial style filters in this residential model as cleaning them is very easy.

We bought the wall-mounted range hood 1 month ago. The installation was fairly straightforward, especially compared to the over the range microwave I had installed previously. Once I had the electrical outlet placed properly (i.e., so it would be hidden behind the range hood chimney because we don't have cabinet above) and the brackets were lined up properly and fixed to the wall, the range hood was quite easy to install. I did opt to use a standard gauge 6 inch stainless steel pipe to connect to the ductwork instead of the flexible pipe that came with the Cosmo range hood. Overall, the range hood looks great and is working just fine so far. It is not as noisy as some other range hoods and over the range microwaves we have had in the past so that is a bonus.

It’s a beautiful fan, just what I wanted and looks amazing in my kitchen. Also, noise level is low and it does the job intended. I also love that you could remove the filters and clean!

I did a lot of research before I chose this range hood. installation was simple and loving the look of it. The only issue we had was the white film over the filters that needed to be removed. I must have spent more time trying to peel off the film than I did installing the hood. It also left a very sticky residue that’s been hard to clean. Some of the film was easy to peel but the corners and edges were very sticky. I would hope the company will change this in the future.
