Stove Vent

Pros,
it’s quiet, powerful extends out almost to the full length of the stove. The light is bright and functional. It’s an attractive piece of hardware and appears well made. It gets the job done.
Cons, it’s heavy. Very heavy. Installation was brutal. It arrives with the vent flap installed backwards and I had to remove and reinstall it correctly. And it is MUCH thicker than it appears in the photograph. It will Eat up a LOT of cooking space. I probably should have paid more attention to the height portion of the dimensions instead of going by the photo alone.

Excellent range hood

This range hood has made a vast improvement in our house allowing all of the fumes from good Chinese cooking to be vented outside. Now, when my wife returns home she can smell dinner on the way up the driveway. Even on low setting it sucks up most everything. There are 4 levels for the fan and I have not had to go above 2 in order to vent all fumes off the range. Also, we are surprised that it is as quiet as it is. That is not to say it is quiet, but we were expecting it to be louder, so are quite happy with the current sound levels.

Excellent choice for heavy cooking. It looks perfect and for our kitchen. I like the timer to stop the fan. Remote is added advantage. Totally worthy product for our kitchen. I highly recommend.

Good Solid Range Hood

I received the range hood November 30th. Finished installing it on Dec 8th. I had to purchased 2 additional duct clamps - unit only came with one duct clamp and it was defective. I had Corian back that I had to drill though and used flip toggle anchors for back wall stalled. The template provided is good start - just make sure double check measurement before drilling. (Corian wall) The unit is heavy - require 2 people in addition to cabinet jacks. The remote has to be next to the range to work - like within 1” os the wireless symbol. Basically useless. Other than that - I do like the CFM ranges and looks nice and everything works well.

Snazzy Hood!

First of all, the hood comes very well packaged and protected with plastic peel-away covering the pristine stainless steel. Such a good looking unit and very effective in eliminating smoke and smells from cooking. Install was a breeze, with ducting going up and directly out of the wall to the outside.
