Looking sleek with a couple small drawbacks

Purchased the Cosmo range hood for our new kitchen. It was recommended by a seasoned contractor who used Cosmo range hoods in multiple house flips and he said it is reliable with a reasonable price tag. We decided to give it a try and ordered 36" width for our 30" gas stove. Nothing too fancy but it does the job. Exactly what we want for our humble little kitchen. Husband likes its simple design and "does not grab attention". We especially appreciate the fact you can wash the filter in dishwasher.
Drawbacks: The instructions can be written better - be comprehensive when you read it and try not follow it blindly. My husband is very handy and he still struggled to come up with the right sequences of installation. Second, the company seems to assume that the range hood would be mounted to drywall and did not include any anchors for tiles. The screws that came with the hood are cheap looking and does not match the color of the hood. They are not like other machine screws that will recess into the appliances so they stick out. Lastly, The blue protective film is mounted over individual pieces of metal which were assembled together to form the range hood. So it was a pain to remove some of them as the film was pinched inside the different parts of the range hood. We spent over an hour picking small pieces of film out of gaps.

I bought this unit for two rental properties and they are great quality construction and have been running flawlessly. The chimney allows you to customize the length based on ceiling and mounting height
