Cosmo 30” ducted Wall Range Hood

This is the second range hood I purchased from Cosmo. The first was for my house in Florida. Liked it so much a year later I purchased similar model for my California House. I liked the sleek European look of this model with the bright displays and easy to use touch screen. Although it is a bit loud the suction is great and no more smoke alarms going off in my house when cooking steaks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Modern look and easy to install.

Purchased this about 3 weeks ago and just finished install only; had to run an exhaust duct through my 2nd floor joists. Install was otherwise simple and straight forward. The packaging of the item was excellent and you'd really have to drop the box out of the back of a truck while driving to damage the contents.
I did not use the supplied flexible ducting but ran solid duct work to maximize flow. The only difficulty here was using aluminum tape to seal the duct to the main body as instructed in the installation manual; there is not a lot of space in some areas to get tape in, or your fingers for that matter. Also, buy better drywall anchors for mounting of the shrouds.
Airflow feels outstanding at the highest setting and the noise is a non-issue for us. The construction of the unit overall feels sturdy. The glass is about 1/4" thick.
I cannot comment on the performance of the filters nor the longevity of the unit yet, but assuming this is satisfactory, the price for this range hood is great. I even bought their cooktop and double oven! (Pending install)
