Very stylish and efficient!

I just had my kitchen re-tiled and the old hood vent needed to go. I realized that my old range hood wasn’t even vented properly and decided I wanted a ductless vent. Upon reading a lot of reviews I decided on this cosmo ductless 30 inch hood vent. I absolutely love it and think it looks amazing in my updated kitchen!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Purchased this hood when we updated to stainless steel appliances. Fits my small space over the range well. Fan seems a bit loud - guess we'll get used to that. We didn't have a range hood before now.

I bought to replace a similar vent hood. This one has an additional feature, a clock which I love. The fan is especially quiet on low. The lights are great. I love the overall look of this hood with the glass.

Very Stylish and Functional Range Hood

We are remodeling our entire home, which of course includes the kitchen. We chose to install this range hood as part of this project. We were unable to connect to an outside duct so the ductless option was helpful. This unit has some surprising features, such as a countdown timer, and on high setting seems quite powerful. It is also a very attractive addition to our new appliances.

Modern look and easy to install.

Purchased this about 3 weeks ago and just finished install only; had to run an exhaust duct through my 2nd floor joists. Install was otherwise simple and straight forward. The packaging of the item was excellent and you'd really have to drop the box out of the back of a truck while driving to damage the contents.
I did not use the supplied flexible ducting but ran solid duct work to maximize flow. The only difficulty here was using aluminum tape to seal the duct to the main body as instructed in the installation manual; there is not a lot of space in some areas to get tape in, or your fingers for that matter. Also, buy better drywall anchors for mounting of the shrouds.
Airflow feels outstanding at the highest setting and the noise is a non-issue for us. The construction of the unit overall feels sturdy. The glass is about 1/4" thick.
I cannot comment on the performance of the filters nor the longevity of the unit yet, but assuming this is satisfactory, the price for this range hood is great. I even bought their cooktop and double oven! (Pending install)
