I needed a 6" ducted island range hood that I could modify because my roof jack was not directly over the cooktop (there is an attic truss in the way).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this about a month or so ago as we are renovating our kitchen. We installed it today and it looks amazing. All the functions work and looks great in the space.

Great deal, installed myself, took out an old over the stove microwave, already had a ducted system, modified my existing cabinets to insert hood up into the cabinets, install was very simple. It's lightweight, clean, in great shape from shipping thanks to the film, and the lights and fan motor are powerful. Very pleased.
