This hood looks great for a low price and is quiet when installed with rigid ducting -- worth noting that this makes the installation harder. The main thing I disliked about this hood is that the main way is secured to the wall is by being hung on a bracket. This leaves a little bit of play in the hood, enough so that if you bumped into it you'd tilt it out of balance. While I was able to secure it down a bit more, ultimately some of this came from the nature of this product being made of pretty thin sheet metal. Instructions also missed some important steps like explaining what the oil filter tray was and where exactly to install the outer chimney bracket.

Picked up the Cosmo 30" Stainless Steel Island Range. Very beautiful. Waiting to install and looks like an aesthetic addition to our kitchen.
