Just installed this in my kitchen which I switched from an older downdraft rangetop to a new radiant one and needed an island range hood. Install itself was not difficult at all as I already had power above the island. Only negative is the EXTREME amount of shrink wrap! Took longer to get the shrink wrap off than it did to install it! BUT so, so pleased. Adds value to the kitchen and is of a very high quality, see no difference in it and units costing twice as much. Lights are great - also like controls are on both sides of unit, very convenient!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’m nearing the end of my kitchen complete remodel, but I found that the installation of the range hood was the simplest of all the projects that I undertook.

Very happilly Very happily surprised. The hood was easy to install. Not sure why some online think it is overly time consuming. I even had a low ceiling (less than 8 feet) to deal with, but I just cut top of the exterior chimney and bottom of the interior chimney piece. Use a multi tool with metal blade and it’s simple. I would say my only issue is how difficult it was to remove the protective blue film from the appliance. Cosmo obviously fabricates the chimney and hood piece with the blue film already on the metal. The problem with this is the film gets stuck in the seams of the metal and is very hard to remove. All in all, would definitely recommend.
