While not the upgrade I was hoping for in the 6th model, moving from the fold 3 to this device was a very pleasant experience. The form factor, decreased weight/thickness, and processing are all noticeably upgraded and worth moving to the fold 6. Larger inner display, slight wider outer display, s pen included IN the phone itself, thinner, lighter, and top line cameras are all MUST HAVE in the fold 7.
Before purchasing the Z Fold 6, I had the 5. In my honest opinion, there really aren't many differences. I passed my 5 onto my wife and after all the updates from the release of the 6, there really isn't much of a change. I will say this is the time of the year where I travel more so I really haven't had the chance to dig into the weeds of this phone. I will have an update here in a few weeks.
Despite the lack of change, it is clear that the focus on polishing and streamlining has resulted in a product that is still ahead of the competition. Everything is consistent, smooth, and snappy as would be expected from a high end device. Samsung is far ahead in the software game. I would however love to see a wider cover display (perhaps folding length-wise rather than the current implementation, such that the phone unfolds into landscape rather than portrait), better camera, and larger battery.
