I held off on purchasing the fold 5 in hopes the 6 would have a self contained spen as does the Ultra series, being that the Note, leading into the Utra have been my favorite, can't switch away from phone. I envisioned the fold with an insert able spen as the ultimate phone. Therefore, i was initially disappointed to learn the spen was not self contained. Now that I have this magnificent phone in hand, I'm pleased that the spen is not contained, for it would not be as sexy slim and would have been a bulky, awkward, heavy brick. Although, I am upset that the spen fails to function on the closed screen. I have fat chunky fingers. The closed screen is more narrow than my S24 Ultra and I would use my spen on the s24 screen, sparing the difficulty of my fat thumbs hitting wrong keys. On the fold 6, not having the option to use the spen on the closed screen has my thumbs seriously stressed. Well enough spen talk, which is my only complaints about the Galaxy Z Fold 6. So I have to say, "I love this phone", if I hadn't said it enough. Wifey is definitely tired of hearing me talk about how much I love this phone numerous times each day. Prior to the fold 6, many of times there would be the need to switch over to my laptop, for a more indepth views, abilities and multitasking. Now it's all been combined, powerfully, beautifully and conveniently in the palm of my hand.
The main reason i switched from ZFlip 5 was because of the redesigned ZFold. The square corners were the initial aspect i noticed that made me excited to get it . After having it a week, I can say that when folded, the "narrow" front screen is overwhelming better than the "standard size" width. It just works for me and the way I use the phone. I genuinely love this form factor and have stated numerous times I wont go back to a regular sized phone.
I really like this phone! Transitioning from the heavier Z Fold 5 was very easy, and I'm getting a great deal on the trade-in. The software to switch from the old phone was especially good. I like foldables because I do a lot of reading and a foldable means I don't have to carry a tablet or an e-reader (color is necessary for the art history books I read). So, I have a great phone and a nice tablet all in one. I will never go back to a regular phone. Highest recommendation!
I can't believe I waited so long to upgrade my phone! 🤩 This Galaxy Z Fold6 is seriously next level. Having two screens in one is a total game-changer, and I love how seamlessly it switches between them. The multitasking possibilities are endless! Plus, the camera quality is incredible - my photos and videos have never looked better. Anyone else using the Z Fold6? Let me know your favorite features!
Love the quality of the device but I have noticed the sound and screen quality are a little inferior to my previous Z Fold3 5G. I know the Z Fold 6 has a better battery and maybe even more processing but small or not these are losses. Regardless, though people might find use for AI, I do not as of yet. This does not mean I do not like the device. It's design is sleek and slimmer, which is good. Either way I'm keeping it
Look, if you have the 5, you may not need to upgrade. I did, but I have the means to right now. I can tell you this, it was worth it for me. These Fold devices get better in so many little ways every single year. The 6 is the best one so far.
I really love the form factor. It's slimmer. The screen feels bigger and better. The outside screen is more normal phone sized and is lovely as well. It's just better feeling in the hand overall. Doesn't feel fragile any more.
The AI stuff is incredible. I had no idea. I've only really dabbled in the photo aspects of it, but it's flawless. I love it.
Again, if you have one older than the 5 or you've never had one...go for it. You will not be sorry.
