Z Flip 6: A Secretly "Minimalist" Phone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I miss the smaller phones of the early to mid-2000s I think phones have gotten way too big granted I know that comes with larger batteries and thus larger battery life but I still prefer a smaller phone. Enter the Z flip series I had a z Flip 3 but recently held off and waited for the technology to get better and the Z flip 6 finally has a substantial battery great screen top of the line processor for just an all-around great phone but yet you have to actually open the thing to really get into actually using your phone, which like these folding phones nowadays they have you using your phone a lot more intentionally because it gets a little not irritating but you to keep opening it over and over again is a little tiresome so it's easier to just use the cover displays. I put all my core essential apps that I use the most on my cover screen and I hardly ever use my phone as much now so whenever I really want to watch a YouTube video or something that's a little bit more distracting I actually open up the phone I also combine the software of a custom home launcher called the Niagara launcher so that I can make the background and icons black and white and is boring as possible to make it a much more minimalist phone. All in all I really like it. The Galaxy AI features I use the translate one the most I think that's pretty neat I work for the Post Office and sometimes a customer will come in and I don't know how to speak their language so I do think I will use that occasionally.

Best Flip phone yet!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of all Samsung phones, and I traded in my s24 Plus to get the new flip 6. Best decision I made! It works incredibly fast, easy to understand and extremely reliable. The Galaxy AI is a true help and everything I'm doing! I use this for personal reasons for the most part and it does everything as advertised!

Good phone but still needs improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoy the ability to guild the phone so that it takes up less space. In most occasions it is fast enough. The camera quality and options are good. There are a couple of drawbacks. 1. If you play games or use you phone a lot the battery does quickly. 2. It will develop a crease in the screen protector at the fold. 3. Google maps locks up and don't let you exit navigation from time to time.

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this device. The previous model was my go to wherever I went. I'm in the military and was sent to train to different locations and that phone was with me everywhere. Now with this new model I love that they improved on its flaws which was cameras, battery, and processor. One of the issues I had with the previous model was the battery and cameras. The phone wouldn't last a day and I had to constantly charge it during work. Now with this model I get way more screen time while at work. The cameras are now better which is what I needed cause I'm always taking photos of wherever I'm traveling, and now with Galaxy AI it's such a gem that lets you modify photos and mess around with custom art. The only issue I had with this model is that they did not improve the cover screen which was a let down cause I use it a lot. The screen resolution did not improve, the size didn't improve, no improvement on refresh rate, and no actualization on apps to work better on the cover screen. If the next model improves the cover screen and makes it more powerful it will for sure be the perfect model. For now, the Z Flip6 is still amazing and I would recommend to anyone looking to buy a Flip phone in 2024.

best flip phone ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned 2 Galaxy flip phones before and went back to a regular phone because I got tired of the crease in the middle. When I read about the flip 6 and saw the videos on you tube, I decided to try one again. The phone is amazing and the convenience of carrying it, sold me. Now, I am no longer checking my back pocket for fear of it falling out.
The software on the phone is also amazing. My grandkids laugh every time I send them a photo from the past that AI generates, that has them holding a bluegill larger than they are or making them appear to be giants in family photos. Everything I send them a photo that has been changed they say "you've got to show me how you do that".
When I'm not screwing around on the phone, I use the phone for trading stocks, watching little league phones, shopping, and answering emails. Being in my pocket, I hardly ever use my computer anymore.
It is Samsung's best phone yet!!!
