I needed a new frying pan and I had been eying this one for a while. Bought it to try out the coating claims. I have never been more impressed with a frying pan. Barely had to use fat to fry with and clean up was so easy.

This was the first The Rock pan I purchased. It never sticks, easy to clean and affordable. Since utilizing this pan I have been slowly replacing all of my pots and pans to Starfrit - The Rock pots, pans and appliances

Coating came off

I really love the size and style of this frying pan but, after a couple of years, the coating has come off. It is no longer non-stick and I can only assume we consumed the coating! Gross! I have no idea which frying pan to get next to make sure this doesn't happen as I really liked it when it was new.

I had previously owned a The Rock Classic 1.9 L Saucepan in which I made my oatmeal breakfast. After several years of use the "non-stick" coating wore off the bottom and the new purchase was to replace the initial saucepan. I am back to making a perfect breakfast each morning in a perfect size saucepan.
