We just bought a new stove. New pans were required to add to the enjoyment (the old ones were warped). There are so many brands out there. We Compared - Compared and Compared again!
We wanted SOLID and Non-Stick. We finally decided on Starfrit, in part due to our past experience with other Starfrit products. (We knew we would be buying Quality). We are completely satisfied with all the pans.
Special mention goes to the Deep Fry Pan with Lid. The insulated extra handle makes it so easy to move when full. The Glass Lid lets us see the progress of what's cooking and the Vent lets the steam out so we aren't "surprised" when lifting it off. Bonus: the reduced splatter keeps the new solid stove top much cleaner! The pans are a match for the stove's variable element sizes and the solid, flat bottoms conduct the heat quickly and evenly.
We are certainly happy we took the time to compare the several similar brands. This made the subtle differences obvious. The 3 year warranty and Starfrit being a Canadian Company added confidence to our decision. This has been backed up by our pleasant, on-going experiences with "The Rock" cookware.
P.S. They look great!

Love this feature of the frying pan/soup pot make life so much easier and the clean up is a breeze. Seriously, never knew purchasing the Rock cookware would change my life.
