Great, powerful, and effective toothbrush.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using this toothbrush for two weeks, and have been very impressed with its performance. I haven't needed to recharge it at all; it's still running on the initial charge from when I first received it two weeks ago. The motor is strong, but not uncomfortably so, and I love that you can adjust the intensity of the vibrations. I feel like my teeth are getting professionally cleaned every day. One of the other things I love about this toothbrush is that there are no mechanical buttons with tiny gaps around them for water to get into. All of the controls one piece, which makes clean up a breeze. I love that the brush notifies you after 20 seconds to move to a different area of your moth, but I wish it was every 10 seconds instead, so you know when to switch form the front to the back sides of your teeth. But aside from that, this has so far been a perfect electric toothbrush. Full disclosure - I received a demo unit and have been compensated for this review.

High Quality Premium Setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a customer of Sonicare for years now. I never thought they could make me want to upgrade. I mean its just a toothbrush right? Wrong. This toothbrush has a very premium and less bulky setup than their original ones. The travel case is sleek and premium. It improves drastically on their old cases. The regular charger is also a step up. No more toothbrush hanging out in a glass to charge. It sits perfectly and lights up when you place it on the charger. I also like how this toothbrush lights up the base when you press to hard while brushing. It gives me instant feedback to help train myself to brush better.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Best toothbrush ever!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a great experience using this Sonicare 9900 toothbrush. I have using different brands of the electronic toothbrush and different series of Philips sonicare toothbrush products. I have to say that 9900 is the best I have ever used.
First, powerful. There are three levels to choose from and the highest level is very powerful, it helps to clean my gum lines well with minimum noise.
Second, it is light in weight and the body size of the toothbrush is perfect, compared to the Essence series.
Third, easy to clean and maintain clean. The gap between the brush head and the body is narrow, which avoid the splash. The bottom of the tooth brush is flat, not like the previous series with a little "cave-in" area where bacteria harbors.
The only thing I am not use to is the touch button to start/off. It works well with my thumb pressing the button but not with other fingers. I sometime need more than two minutes to brush my teeth and the toothbrush stops working. I have to restart by pressing the start/off button by taking the toothbrush out then use my thumb to restart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was most surprised by how much I like this new electric toothbrush. The Philips Sonicare Prestige 9900 has three little magical spinners in the middle of the toothbrush and they don't miss anything. Easy to use and works well.

Great new toothbrush with nice features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a Sonicare electric toothbrush in the past. This new model is definitely more advanced. The vibrations are more “intense” and I think it cleans a lot better than my old brush. The like the larger head that comes with the brush as it helps message my gums. The one thing I don’t like about it is how it turns off. Once you press the button, there is a slight delay. Sometimes I gag when brushing my teeth I’m the morning. If you have ever pulled an electric toothbrush out of your mouth while brushing you know you will have toothpaste everywhere! My old toothbrush would stop vibrating the millisecond I pressed the button. This one delays so it makes it difficult to pull out of my mouth when I need to. Other than that, it’s a great toothbrush.

Nice toothbrush but has some flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a very strong toothbrush, has lot of manual control and seems to have a very good & sturdy build quality. Battery life is strong compared to others in the same class.
My *biggest* issue with this toothbrush is the main selling point of it. I am extremely uncomfortable when brushing my teeth with this device. I'm not sure if it's the brush head that came with it, or the vibration style, or a combination of both but it is not an enjoyable brushing experience. I had been using a more "traditional" electric toothbrush for as long as I can remember and I never had any of them feel this way when using it.

Great Clean - Premium Price, but too much!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, the cleaning function of the brush is second-to-none; it does a great job providing feedback, the intensity settings are good, and the new brush head seems to be doing an excellent job.
From my experience with other SonicCare brushes, I really miss being able to change the cleaning mode on the actual brush... though it's nice that it keeps the simple look of the brush, it's just more of a pain.
The charging case is also really nice! Everything fits in it very well, and it's nice to not have to bring along a bulky charging cord for the case... it actually uses cords I already use for other devices, which is nice. Though, for the extra $200 this package costs, I'd almost rather just pack away a standard charging base, but if you've got the cash - I'd say go for it, it's a nice convenience.
Speaking of chargers, the new conductive charger is a nice, premium looking charger and it now has a nice cup that goes over it for 'easy' cleaning.
Overall, it's still got the great quality of a SonicCare brushing system, with some cool new premium accessories. Is it worth the cost, that's up to your bank account.
