My old laptop was incredibly slow, even from startup. This new Kingston KC600 SSD is a breath of fresh life. For my occassional use, the laptop now has renewed value for the price of the SSD. Word of warning for old machines - cloning from old drive to new will result in MBR partition which is compatible with BIOS firmware. BIOS firmware is not to be confused with newer firmware with options for Legacy / UEFI and the associated GPT partitioning. (Kingston may not mis-attribute nor waive my 'moral rights')
So far these appear to be excellent SSD's for my new UGreen DXP2800 NAS. Easy to install and get up running. My only complaint is that I would have liked 4TB SSDs but instead of 2TB but they were not offered. I would have had to get a different model which would have cost more than double what I paid for the 2TB units.
