Not worth the hype

Purchased these over 1 year ago at the original price of $329. 1 year later the right bud began to exhibit a manufacturing flaw where the noise cancellation doesn’t work properly and produces a static and hum. Sound quality and phone call quality dropped significantly.
Contacted Apple and since they were over a year old didn’t qualify for free service. Will cost over $300 to fix them. Not worth the hype for a poor quality product. Loved them before they broke but now feeling burned and disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor sound quality

Bought a pair and the right AirPod wasn’t working so I got them checked and replaced in the Apple Store - surprisingly, I had to go to the Apple Store 3 times because the sound quality was bad and got them replaced 3 times.
So I got a new pair and I had the same problems - glitchy sounds, right airpod not working, etc etc.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

noise cancellation is good, blocking roughly 70 percent of the noise, blocking out noise like background tv sound, fan noise, rain noise, good for airplane travel.
sweatproof, good for working out, running etc.
The sound is clear, nothing special.
not the perfect fit, ear tip not as comfy, for comfort suggest the 2nd generation airpod
the 3rd gen is kinda in between, okay comfort with no noise cancellation feature save a few extra bucks.

i have had airpods as soon as they came out and i have experienced them all. these are by far the best as they allow noise cancellation good for a bus ride or working out. as for the price i agree you get what your paying for it is worth it and a overall good investment 100/10!!! :D

I love it. Noise cancelation makes life peaceful and it’s safety position for bikers to recognize voice and alarms is spectacular pulse it reads your messages and mailed.
