Cracked less than 24hrs after purchase

I have had this screen protector on my phone for less than 24hrs and it already has a huge crack from top to bottom. This phone has barely even left my desk since I installed the protector. It hasn't dropped or been in contact with anything that may have scratched it once. There is no reason as to why it would have cracked. When going through the replacement process with the warranty I was expected to pay shipping. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
