The solution I needed

This has checked all the boxes. I have a shepherd that sheds a lot and my previous robot could handle the hair but did not self empty. I added the tri cut roller and we have had no clogs and it’s been used daily. The real time camera was an added extra that i didn’t even know i wanted. When I’m not home now i can send this to search for my dog. Obstacle avoidance is great. Hasn’t gotten cord tangled or stuck once. Mopping has been good. Doesn’t over soak the floor. It’s been a great upgrade!

Great little machine

So far this X40 has exceeded my expectations. Great obstacle avoidance, long battery life, and superior edge cleaning compared to other flagship vacuums on the market. The app is decent with tons of cleaning options but I see some room for improvement.

Mobile is not everything

It is great to be able to schedule and map from an iPhone. however, for easier use, this is where being able to use a regular computer with larger screen would provide a better capability especially for the initial setup.
I get annoyed with the limited screen and options on the mobile but not enough to dump the product….yet

Exceeds Expectations In Every Way

I did a lot of research on robot vaccums and even though I have a great Dyson vaccum I decided to take advantage of Black Friday to purchase the Dreame X40 Ultra and it was a great price. I saw it had been reviewed very highly and if it could save me time cleaning my apartment whilst I work long hours I would be happy. I have a fairly large apartment in New York and no pets but set up was really simple and straightforward. I find the app intuitive yet customizable enough to specify specific cleaning actions etc. The self mapping worked flawlessly in minutes and I found myself watching the robot for longer than I care to admit. I experimented with different modes and I was surprised to see that my floors were cleaner than when I did it myself. The mopping function is really phenomenal and makes all my floors look better than ever. I had to purchase a ramp to access my kitchen due to the threshold height. Overall extremely happy and hope it continues past the 2 week mark.

So happy I made this purchase. I’ve been comparing vacuums for a while now and I’m glad I went with the Dreame x40. With two small children in my home, crumbs regularly end up on the floor. I have been running my X40 daily and am so relieved that my floors stay clean! The option to run with or without the mop is also very nice.

Must have for any house

The robot is excellent in every task it handles. Vacuuming is powerful with lot of controls and mopping ability is one of the best. Rotating mops does excellent job on our hardwood floors and its robo swing technology works flawlessly and cleans under our furniture nicely. The biggest feature I would say its exceptional obstacle avoidance, I have kids and they keep the house messy but with this robo vacuum its avoids any obstacle found perfectly. Its all in dock stations is another time saver where we only need to worry about emptying dirty water and filling up clean water. Its almost fully autonomous machine with excellent cleaning and mopping abilities. Its an easy recommendation for anyone willing to invest in robot vacuum

Been using this vaccum for less than a year now. I made this purchase after doing a lot of research. Easily one of the best purchases I have made. Very reliable vaccum for sweep and mop. Came with a lot of goodies too. Highly recommend. Got a lot of useful features like corner cleaning with extended arm
