Coming from a Shark robot vacuum, this is a huge upgrade for me. With the Shark, I had to manually swap parts to switch between vacuuming and mopping, remap the house at least once a month, and it constantly ran over socks, charger cables, and dog toys.
This new vacuum is a game changer. The app is much more user friendly, and it does a great job cleaning up after my two dogs who shed every time they breathe. Getting it on sale was a bonus. I have it set to vacuum twice a day and mop twice a week.
I love that I can control the suction power and mop wetness, and it even lifts the mop over my area rug something my last vacuum always got stuck on.
I’m really hoping this vacuum lasts for several years. I’ll definitely consider buying another in the future as the technology continues to improve

Love this product! Easy to use. We used Swiffers and wet Swiffers previously and think the floors are MUCH cleaner now.

I absolutely love my Dreame X40 Ultra! With two cats and a dog, keeping up with pet hair, muddy paw prints, and everyday messes can feel like a full-time job — but this robot vacuum and mop handles it all effortlessly. It navigates my house like a pro, smoothly transitioning from carpet to tile to hardwood without missing a beat.
The X40 Ultra has an incredible ability to detect carpeted areas and automatically adjust, skipping the mop when needed and giving my carpets a thorough vacuum. The mopping function is equally impressive, leaving my tile and hardwood floors spotless and streak-free.
I’m amazed at how well it maps out the space and learns the layout, so every room gets the attention it deserves. The app makes it super easy to customize cleaning schedules and even target specific rooms or zones. It’s also surprisingly quiet, which is a huge plus with pets around.
If you’re looking for a smart, reliable, and incredibly effective cleaning solution for a multi-surface home — especially with pets — the Dreame X40 Ultra is worth every penny. Highly recommend!

I’ve had the Dreams X40 Ultra for a week now and it does a great job from the start. The mapping of the house was very fast and thorough. The hardwood floors looked amazing throughout the house.
So far I’m very happy with this purchase.

I love that I can vacuum and mop my floors while doing other things. It does a great job. I can't use the vacuum and mop feature at the same time or it dumps water all over the floor. If I vacuum then mop separately , it works great.
