Unstable device

As a company we bought 10 pieces at a electronics store. We intended to use these types to hold configuration and a qcow2 file running a virtual machine for a linux platform. The devices turned out to become a bit hot. We were using the device in combination with a Dell Embedded Box PC 5000, a Dell PowerEdge XR2 and a fitlet2 IOT Box PC. On the Dell systems, the device was not always recognized, failing our application. On the fitlet2 in test the device died. So, for robuustness this device is not suitable for us. Especial the plastic enclusure migh not be anble to transfer the heat outwards. This was much better with the previous metal types, but it seems that they are no longer availlable. So we are looking for an industrial type with this small footprint and unfortuntely this device didn't fullfill our demands.

Cheap Flimsy flash drive

So disappointed in SanDisk!! This Flash drive is all PLASTIC. The quality is the cheapest on the market that you can get and it’s extremely flimsy. First time that I did connect to my laptop it heated up and have no idea what happened there. I took out the drive and then inserted into another USB port and it started to work but it was not heating up anymore, now I doubt the quality of the drive. SanDisk did not use any metal in the flash drive. My expectation is 2 months max use before it cracks and meets the grave yard of all flash drives. Super low quality and disappointed in SanDisk.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nogo for me

For me, physical size and robustness is a must. I have a lot of 'Cruzer fit 32GB' that I find perfect for handling but this thing is ugly, clunky and seems cheap. I really wanted to continue my SanDisk usb collection but too bad. And after reading comments here and on the web, it will be a nogo for me. Sad. Why are 'designers' always trying to reinvent stuff that are tight and efficient is beyond me. Just create 'Cruzer fit 128G or 256GB' and I garantee you that you will have a lot of sales. But not this 'thing'.

Very neat little gadget!

The ultra fit flash drive is excellent for loading music and plugging into the vehicle USB port. Little chance of getting snagged or broken and you can just leave it there. 16GB is more than enough for most music libraries - have 14 albums on it now and only 3 GB.

Not good for All USB 2.0 devices.

I bought 5 of the SDCZ430-032G-G46 and they do NOT work on any Roland Fantom 6/7/8 keyboard. The Roland Fantom 6/7/8 uses USB 2.0.
I would recommend this to a friend!
