Can't get info from customer service.

Have had this for 26 months. Only used a few times. Motor brushes wore out. Called customer service. They said they don't have a part number for brushes. Told me if it was still in warranty they would send me a replacement. It is 2 months past warranty, so guess I'm screwed. Any suggestions to finding brushes would be a great help.

When you register your product through our website or with one of our knowledgeable customer service representatives, we add an additional 90 days to the length of the warranty. Better than expected.

I had another brand of electric tiller that burned out on me twice. The first time I took it to get it repaired and after almost 2 months they told me parts were not available. They did send me a new one free of charge since it was under warranty. I used it last year without a problem. This year I was tilling my front yard which had hard packed clay and the motor burned out again after 3 passes. I gave up on it and bought this Sun Joe brand. It started on that hard packed clay and ran like a champion. The power of this Sun Joe Tiller is exceptional. I wish that I had purchased a Sun Joe to begin with. the only complaint I have is with the position of the on-off switch. As I use the tiller my hand has a tendency to move toward the back of the handle and I accidentally release the switch. This happens multiple times. If the switch was either placed further back on the handle by about 1/2" or if a longer switch was used then it would be much easier to control. I am going to have to come up with something that I can attach to the handle or switch to cure that one design defect.
Pros: Ease Of Assembly, Easy To Use, Reduced Noise, Handling/Manueverability, Quality Construction
Cons: Position of on-off switch.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We had battled with a gas powered rototiller for years....ALWAYS hard to start, specially mixed fuel and having to get the gas out of it every Fall which sometimes we didn't get around to and that caused problems. The electric Sun Joe rototiller was liberating from all that! We were skeptical that it would have as much power but it was every bit as strong as the gas version and such a pleasure to use, hassle free and we love it!

Had a bobcat doing some work in my front yard. After about 6 hours my grass was gone and the dirt was packed down hard..I checked out many tillers and decided on this one. .Good reviews , price was great and the size was good. My son came over to help. He said this is electric and you need a gas tiller , this will not work. Well he got it done and was really surprised how well it worked! good buy he said ,that was easier than I thought. I now have grass and so happy I decided on this tiller. this is a powerful little machine!
