Does a great job!

First of all, this is super easy to assemble - just have to attach the handle. I used it today for the first time to till a vegetable garden that was put in last year. It did a great job. It digs deeper if you let it go forward a few feet and then pull it back. And that's really easy to do with this. I would have given it 5 stars but for the following: The handle is too long and it's non- adjustable. To get down deep, you need to have the handle is a fairly upright position. I'm 6 feet and the handle is a bit too high for my liking. It would be really tough for someone around 5' or 5'5" to use this comfortably without adjusting the length of the handle which cannot be done. The angle of the handle is not adjustable either and it would be much more comfortable to use if I could drop the handle a bit. It throws a lot of dirt forward and that can be a problem around the edge unless you plan for it. Overall, I'm 100% satisfied with the way it tore through the garden in no time without stumbling even once. They just need to work on that handle!

I was skeptical at first, but the reviews were good, so I took a chance at the Sun Joe tiller and I couldn't be happier after using it. This thing is a BEAST, and it has the power that a lot of gas tillers would have when it comes to actually breaking ground and not just cultivating already tilled ground. Some people don't know how to use it properly, which might account for the very few negative reviews, but this baby will get the job done.

This little monster is one awesome machine. I purchased this to replace an ageing Mantis. I think this is one of the better purchases I ever made. No gas or oil, just plug it in and go. It jumped a little in the clay soil we have here in Kansas. Just made a depth adjustment and it work fantastic. I really like this machine!

This is the first tiller I have ever purchased and the the first SNOW JOE/SUN JOE Product
First Tiller/Cultivator ever purchased and I have to say what a little worked horse of a machine. I live in Connecticut and the ground is so compact we have a lot of clay in my area .The area where I put it to work was a large area of my lawn approx. 8' x 24' where the grass was dead/dried out and has a lot of clay and hard compact soil but this machine worked very well. Can't say enough about this tiller it's the best 16 in. 12 amp model TJ603E I have purchased !!

I bought this tiller last spring. Awesome little machine for what it is.
PROS: Light weight.
Plenty of power to get through the hard pack.
This thing really tears it up!
CONS: Only one speed..... Throws dirt too far.
Leaves an nicer bead if you work it backwards..... pulling it toward the operator.
