The tiller has plenty of power for my little garden and to till up areas of my lawn. Best thing about the whole thing is I don't have to worry about weather or not it will start or mixing gas. This tiller is a very good value. It also folds up to become very compact. The only negative thing that I can come up with is that the cleaning instructions say not to use water. In a lot of cases this would be the easiest way to clean it.

Very happy with this unit, motor is very powerful and never slows down. Does a 18x18 garden fast and easy. I might add some weight to the top to help keep it down. It does dig down but I think with the additional weight it will chew through and not come up. Or maybe I’m doing it wrong..lol. Overall very satisfied and no annual oil changes needed!!

This is the second Sun Joe tiller/cultivator I've owned. The first lasted for several years tilling in hard soil and rocks. After one season with the second, it appears to be as reliable and does a wonderful job. I have multiple raised beds and I can control it perfectly. The electric motor provides plenty of quiet power and has never bogged down. I highly recommend!

Compared to my older Mantis gas tiller, this is a monster. It starts so easily (the main reason I dropped the gas tiller), and is VERY powerful. If you can reach a cord to where you need to till, this is the answer.

I found out that while tilling the soil pulling the tiller back wards helps the tiller to dig out the large weeds and break up hard soil. Going forward the tiller will try to walk over a hard surface full of weeds. The tiller is easy to control and light enough to be carried where you need to go with the tiller.
